Set in the heart of a private estate of 23 hectares of unspoilt nature, planted with 450 olive trees, Domaine des Papillons is an authentic Provençal retreat where time slows down. Here the silence reigns: garrigue, oak and pine forest as far as the eye can see, and that sweeping view over Mont Aurélien and the Sainte-Baume massif. A true end of the world, yet only minutes from Barjols and its shops.

The estate unfolds across two independent lodgings, each with its own private pool: the large Provençal stone jas, built for big tables of up to 16 guests, and the wooden chalet nestled among the olive trees, an intimate refuge for 4. To rent separately, or together to bring up to 20 guests together in the heart of nature.

About a hundred metres away, two neighbouring homes share the estate's setting, with no direct view. The place invites you to enjoy nature fully, respecting everyone's peace and quiet.

Which lodgings do you offer?

Two independent lodgings: Le Jas des Papillons, for 16 guests (6 bedrooms, 8 beds, 3 bathrooms), and Le Chalet des Papillons, a wooden cabin for 4 guests (2 bedrooms). Each has its own private pool.

Can I rent the jas and the chalet together?

Yes. By booking the whole estate, you bring the jas and the chalet together, for up to 20 guests and two pools. This option is only available when both lodgings are free on the same dates.

Is there a pool?

Yes, each lodging has its own private pool. The jas pool is fenced and secured, bordered by a stone deck, set among the olive trees.

Check-in and check-out?

Check-in is autonomous via a keypad lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule. We share the exact times and access details once your dates are confirmed.

Are pets allowed? Can we host an event?

Pets are not allowed. For an event, get in touch and let's talk it through, everything is much easier when you book direct.
